Guitar prodigy Sungha Jung reunites with Vietnamese audiences
The 20-year-old Korean artist promises to bring a new and youthful musical space like he did two years ago.
Sungha Jung's tour in Vietnam was held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This is the third consecutive year that the 20-year-old artist has met and interacted with Vietnamese audiences. Sungha Jung is the first foreign fingerstyle guitarist to perform in Vietnam. Fingerstyle is a style of guitar playing that uses finger techniques, fingernails, and hand flexibility to create many sounds, making the music sound like a symphony of many instruments.

Playing guitar fluently since the age of 5, Sungha Jung is known as the "Korean Guitar Prodigy" and soon became famous on YouTube with over 991 million views and over three million followers. Composing and arranging many songs with diverse styles, Sungha Jung has released 6 albums, the latest being Two of Me. Among the songs such as Felicity, River Flows In You, Irony, The Phantom of The Opera, Haru Haru... the cover of the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack has attracted the most attention with over 45 million views.
Sungha Jung has also been invited to collaborate with many famous Korean and international artists such as 2NE1, G-Dragon, Kotaro Oshio, Trace Bundy, Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel and Jason Mraz. He has toured in many countries including France, the US, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and China.
Sungha Jung's music night takes place on April 16 in Hanoi and April 17 in Ho Chi Minh City.
