Still reeling from the flurry of new car models launched over the past month, the Vietnamese market is set to welcome even more new models in November.

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) will officially launch the all-new C-Class in Hanoi on November 1st. For Ho Chi Minh City, the new C-Class will be unveiled at the Vietnam Motor Show 2014 on November 20th. Although the official launch date hasn't arrived yet, a lot of information about this model and its price is already circulating online, testing the patience of car enthusiasts.

Chưa hết ngợp với các mẫu xe mới dồn dập được ra mắt trong hơn 1 tháng qua, thị trường Việt Nam lại tiếp tục đón những dòng xe mới trong tháng 11 tới.
Still reeling from the flurry of new car models launched over the past month, the Vietnamese market is set to welcome even more new models in November.

The C-Class's known rivals include the Lexus IS 250, BMW 328i, Infiniti Q50, and Audi A4.

Since all of the aforementioned brands already have official sales representatives in Vietnam and are taking full advantage of the busiest sales season of the year, the arrival of the new C-Class will certainly create intense competition.

Reportedly, at the upcoming Vietnam Motor Show 2014, the three-pointed star brand will showcase 11 attractive models, including the alluring S 500 4MATIC Coupe making its Asian debut.

Also from Germany, the BMW 4 Series Grand Coupe and BMW M3 promise to offer exciting highlights. In the premium segment, Infiniti will introduce a 7-seater luxury crossover – the QX60.

Also launching at the upcoming exhibition will be two models from the Mitsubishi brand of VinaStar Company: the Attrage compact sedan and the Outlander Sport SUV.

Also from Japan, the Nissan brand, alongside the all-electric Nissan Leaf, a symbol of a new consumer trend in automobiles, will also showcase the 2015 Nissan JUKE, a completely new compact crossover expected to have a very attractive new price. The 2015 Nissan Sunny, Nissan's best-selling global sedan, will also be featured at the exhibition, equipped with a completely new luxury optional package.

The Suzuki Ertiga is another new model that will be introduced at the upcoming gathering of car manufacturers. This model is considered a competitor to the Toyota Innova.

In addition to the models mentioned above, many new models that have been announced will make their debut at the exhibition, and there is still a long way to go. With 18 world-renowned automotive brands participating this time, three more than in 2013, there are still many models yet to be revealed, creating curiosity among customers.

Although not participating in the Vietnam Motor Show 2014, Truong Hai Auto Company (Thaco) announced that it will soon launch the 2015 version of the Mazda 2. In the first nine months of 2014, this brand sold over 6,000 vehicles, rising to second place in the sales ranking of automotive brands compiled by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA).

Busy with its new vehicle launch schedule, Thaco also introduced five Peugeot passenger car models last October, adding to the vibrant competition in the market. Given these recent developments, it is predicted that in the remaining months of the year, Thaco will continue to introduce new Kia models, the third passenger car brand also handled by Thaco in the Vietnamese market.

Quietly, Hyundai Thanh Cong is preparing to launch the Santa Fe model assembled in Vietnam in the near future. Not long before that, Hyundai Thanh Cong introduced the new imported Sonata passenger car, a competitor to the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Nissan Teana.

With a long list of new models recently launched and soon to be released, automakers are brimming with hope for strong sales between now and the Lunar New Year. Considering recent market trends, the manufacturers' expectation of achieving good results in 2014 is understandable.

According to VAMA statistics, in September 2014, demand for automobiles in the Vietnamese market continued to increase across all segments, with over 16,000 vehicles delivered to customers, the highest number so far this year. This number increased by 29% compared to the previous month and by 65% compared to the same period in 2013.
