December was Guardiola's unluckiest time at Man City
More than half of Pep Guardiola's Premier League defeats have come in December.
Yesterday, in round 19, Man City lost 1-2 at Leicester City. It was the 11th defeat for coach Guardiola in more than two years leading Man City in the Premier League. Six of those losses came in December.

In December alone, Man City have suffered three defeats against Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Leicester. This slump could become more serious if they lose their last match of the month at Southampton (December 30). The gap between Man City and the top team Liverpool is now 7 points.
The defeat to Leicester also marked the first time Man City had lost two consecutive Premier League games in two years. The last time was in December 2016, when Guardiola's team lost to Chelsea and Leicester in seven days.
After the match with Southampton, Man City will start January 2019 by hosting Liverpool.
