Winning a thrilling victory over Indonesia, Vietnam U16 women won the Bronze Medal
Defeating host Indonesia U16 women's team after a penalty shootout, Vietnam U16 women's team won the Bronze Medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian U16 Women's Championship.
Vietnam U16 women's team was rated higher than Indonesia U16 women's team. However, Mr. Okiyama's team could not win as easily as predicted even though they had an early lead. In fact, the situation on the field started to favor Vietnam U16 women's team when in the third minute, Ngoc Anh joined the attack and scored the opening goal.
However, the lead of Mr. Okiyama's team quickly disappeared after that. In an effort to push forward to find an equalizer, the U16 women's team of Indonesia was rewarded in the 15th minute. Nafeeza was the author of the goal to level the score at 1-1. After the equalizer, the two teams played at a moderate pace, mainly competing in the midfield area, so there were not many scoring opportunities created.

In the second half, Coach Okiyama increased the attack by sending players Minh Anh, Ha Yen Nhi, Le Thi Hong Thai and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh onto the field. However, the tight defense of the Indonesian U16 women's team prevented the Vietnamese U16 women's team from converting their chances into goals, forcing the match to go into a penalty shootout.
On this lucky 11m penalty spot, the U16 women's team of Vietnam finished better and won with a score of 7-6. This victory helped Mr. Okiyama's team to finish third overall.
Chelsea pair score, Milan wins first match in Serie A
In the second round of Serie A 2025/26, AC Milan defeated Lecce thanks to goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic. This was Milan's first victory this season.
Milan went into the match against Lecce determined to win at all costs after a disastrous first-round defeat to Cremonese. However, coach Max Allegri had a number of problems in preparation. Rafael Leao and Ardon Jashari were both injured and Alex Jimenez was left out of the squad pending a transfer to Bournemouth.

After the opening whistle at the San Siro, defender Matteo Gabbia rose high to head home a Luka Modric corner kick from Lecce, but the goal was ruled out after VAR confirmed he had fouled Lassana Coulibaly.
Milan had more chances in the following period, but Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Santiago Gimenez both wasted them. Meanwhile, Lecce had a few dangerous counter-attacks, but goalkeeper Maignan still controlled the situation. The first 45 minutes ended with the two teams tied 0-0.
In the second half, Gimenez almost scored for Milan but was ruled out for offside. It was not until the 66th minute that the tie was broken when Loftus-Cheek headed in to open the scoring for Milan. Modric contributed greatly to the goal when he made an accurate pass for Loftus-Cheek to score.
With the lead, Milan continued to push forward with their attacks and in the 86th minute, Pulisic took advantage of a mistake by Lecce's defense to score the winning goal, 2-0, for Milan.
With this victory, Milan got the first three points of the Serie A season, while Lecce still has to find points in the upcoming matches. According to the schedule, Milan's next opponent is Bologna.
9 players may be absent from the MU vs Burnley match
MU are facing a serious squad crisis ahead of their match against Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday night. According to the latest update, up to 9 players from both sides are at risk of missing.
United go into this game under heavy pressure after a string of disappointing results. They started the season with a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, then dropped a win to Fulham (drawing 1-1), and were recently knocked out of the League Cup by Grimsby Town after a thrilling penalty shootout.

Ahead of the match against Burnley, manager Ruben Amorim confirmed that Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez will be unavailable, both of whom are still recovering from injury. In addition, the status of Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Kobbie Mainoo remains uncertain.
The Portuguese coach understands that many players who did not start are disappointed, but he insists that all will have a chance if they perform well in training.
On the other hand, Burnley coach Scott Parker is also facing difficulties. Four names including Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts, Manuel Benson and Zeki Amdouni may not recover in time. However, Parker has good news when Axel Tuanzebe and new signing Armando Broja returned to play in the victory over Derby County in the League Cup, ready to play this weekend.
The match between MU and Burnley promises to be a turning point for both teams. The Red Devils need a win to relieve the pressure, while Burnley want to take advantage of the opportunity to continue their positive start to the Premier League.
