The combination of cross-kicks became a dangerous tactic for the Vietnamese futsal team. However, the surprise came in the 26th minute. Van Hieu had a brilliant moment. He stole the ball from the opponent's feet, dribbled from home and passed the Panama goalkeeper. Then, ala, born in 1998, finished from a narrow angle, raising the score to 3-2 for the Vietnamese futsal team.

After conceding the goal, the Panama futsal team continued to put pressure by pushing up their formation to press. The Vietnamese players had difficulty in developing the ball and had to use long passes. In return, coach Minh Giang's students always played aggressively in defensive situations when the CONCACAF representative created many opportunities thanks to applying the power-play tactic.

In addition, Van Y also played excellently to make a series of saves for the Vietnamese futsal team. In the end, coach Minh Giang and his team won 3-2 against Panama and got the first 3 points at the 2021 World Cup. This result helped the Vietnamese futsal team's chances of advancing much brighter.
