Indonesia's victory over the Philippines opens the door to the SEA Games semi-finals.
Indonesia U23 has a strong chance of securing a place in the semi-finals of the 28th SEA Games after their 2-0 victory over the Philippines U23.
Determined to win and keep their hopes of advancing alive in the SEA Games 28, the Indonesian U23 team entered the match against the Philippine U23 team with great determination and launched an attack right from the start.
And within the first 15 minutes of the match, the Indonesian U23 team had already scored two goals, courtesy of their captain and brightest star, Evan Dimas.
With a two-goal lead, the Indonesian U23 team completely dominated the game and created numerous opportunities. However, the excellent performance of the Philippine U23 goalkeeper prevented Coach Aji Santoso's team from scoring a third goal.

About 15 minutes into the second half, the Indonesian U23 team gradually substituted their key players, giving the Philippine U23 team an opportunity to fight back.
However, the poor finishing of the U23 Philippines forwards, especially striker Valmayor, meant that the team couldn't even score a consolation goal.
With this result, U23 Indonesia has returned to second place in Group A with 6 points, but ahead of U23 Singapore on goal difference. A draw against the host team in the final match will secure U23 Indonesia a place in the semi-finals of the SEA Games 28.
Meanwhile, the Philippines U23 team bid farewell to the SEA Games in Singapore without earning a single point, having lost all four matches.
