Located at the foot of Pu Nong Chang hill, Vang Mon village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district is home to 79 Thai ethnic households. In recent days, the people here have been happy for Huong Van Dan (born in 1974), Huong Van Mui (born in 1979) and Huong Van Thuy (born in 1989) because from now on, they have a spacious and sturdy house of their own.
Unable to hide his excitement, village chief Ha Van Nghe said that with the support of the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police, the three most disadvantaged households in the village were awarded three level four houses. Accompanying and playing a key role with the Party Committee, government and households in the process of building these projects were 50 union members and youth of the commune.

Because the house was built on a hillside, nearly 50m from the main road, transporting construction materials was extremely difficult. The access road was a narrow path that was only wide enough for trailers to go up, but with great determination, the youth union members worked with the locals to transport more than 4 tons of cement, 12 cubic meters of sand and gravel, and tons of other materials. Sweat drenched their backs, but the results brought joy and happiness to the poor families. And then, yesterday, the houses were inaugurated, becoming a peaceful home for the families.
Entering the age of 50, but perhaps this is the first time Mr. Huong Van Dan feels so happy. Seeing the green volunteer shirt working hard for his family and sharing the joy when the house was successfully topped off, he was extremely touched. This is a great source of encouragement for himself and his children to overcome difficulties and strive to improve in life.

Next were 4 playgrounds for children in border villages in Nhon Mai, Mai Son, Yen Tinh communes... Besides supporting infrastructure construction, in remote areas, the Youth Union members also always accompany and take care of the health of the people.
