(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnamese women's team won 3-1 against the Myanmar women's team in the second match of Group A of the 32nd SEA Games. With this result, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team opened the door to the semi-finals.

Compared to the victory against Malaysia, the Vietnamese women's team made 4 adjustments to the starting lineup. Among them, veteran midfielder Tuyet Dung played from the start.

The Vietnamese women's team entered the match quite confidently compared to Myanmar in the first half. As soon as the starting whistle blew, the players in red launched an attack on the Myanmar goalkeeper's goal.

Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team were able to celebrate an early goal in the 10th minute. Tuyet Dung and Huynh Nhu had a beautiful combination before the captain of the Vietnamese team kicked the ball into the opponent's net.

This is also Huynh Nhu's first goal at SEA Games 32.

After taking the lead, the Vietnamese women's team played with more excitement. However, from the 30th minute, the Myanmar players got into the rhythm of the match. They had more options to attack Kim Thanh's goal.
In the 40th minute, from Thuy Nga's mistake, number 6 Htet Htet Wai scored the equalizer for the Myanmar women's team.
In the second half, both teams tried to find a chance to increase the score but it seemed too difficult. Both sides played cautiously at home to find an opportunity to attack.
However, luck was on the side of the Vietnamese team. In the 76th minute, from a chaotic situation in the penalty area, Thanh Nha was present in time in the penalty area and finished to raise the score to 2-1 for Vietnam.

Not stopping there, in the 90th minute, the Vietnamese women's team organized a quick attack. Thuy Trang escaped down the right wing, broke straight into the 16m50 box and then lobbed the ball into the top corner, setting the score at 3-1 for the Vietnamese women's team.

With 2 wins, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team continue to top Group A. In the final round, the Vietnamese team will have to face the Philippines, the team that lost 0-1 to Myanmar in the previous round.
