Beating U15 Hue, U15 Song Lam Nghe An consolidates top spot

At the end of the first leg of the 2024 National U15 qualifying round, U15 Song Lam Nghe An won all the matches and maintained the top position in Group C. Specifically, U15 Song Lam Nghe An won 6-0 against U15 Hue; won U15 Hong Linh Ha Tinh 2-0; won U15 Quang Nam 4-1; won the second place team in the group U15 SHB Da Nang 2-0.

In the second leg, U15 Song Lam Nghe An met again with host Hue. Although playing away, coach Nguyen Van Tien's team took the initiative to control the game and put a lot of pressure on the opponent's field.

Notably, in this match, the coaching staff of the Nghe An team boldly rotated the players, many strikers who rarely played were present in the starting lineup. However, U15 Song Lam Nghe An still deployed many diverse attacks, causing the home team's defense to always be on alert.

After many missed chances, in the 35th minute, U15 Song Lam Nghe An broke the deadlock. The goal came from a cross from Van Lam, Quang Linh made a wall and then passed back for Minh Thuy to accurately tap in, opening the score for U15 Song Lam Nghe An.

After the goal, coach Nguyen Van Tien's students continued to maintain pressure on the opponent's field. However, the surprise came when U15 Hue scored a goal to equalize the score.

After bringing the match back to the starting line, the home team actively played defensively to find a point against the team leading the table. Therefore, it was not until the 85th minute that U15 Song Lam Nghe An was able to put the ball into the home team's net for the second time.

The goal came from Minh Thuy's corner kick, the ball bounced around the opponent's goal, Bui Van Tu was there at the right time to score the goal for U15 Hue.

The final score of the match was 2-1, in favor of U15 Song Lam Nghe An. With this victory, coach Nguyen Van Tien's team continued to firmly consolidate their leading position in Group C.
