These days, the program "Thanh Chuong Clean Agricultural Products - 0 VND" is being enthusiastically implemented by Thanh Chuong youth, calling for the support of many people. The shipments carrying the kind hearts of Thanh Chuong people will be directed to localities that are implementing isolation and social distancing.

According to Thanh Chuong District Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Tu Hai Phong, in the face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, especially when learning that Vinh City had to implement social distancing and Dien Chau, Tan Ky, and Quy Hop districts had locked down some high-risk areas to prevent the epidemic, the District Youth Union has developed a plan and immediately started implementing the program "Thanh Chuong Clean Agricultural Products - 0 VND".

This activity aims to demonstrate the willingness of local people to share difficulties with epidemic areas, joining hands to ensure a part of the supply of clean agricultural products as well as necessities for households in the blockaded and isolated areas and functional forces on duty at epidemic control checkpoints.

The idea was quickly disseminated to the Youth Union secretaries of communes and towns and received consensus and positive responses from the grassroots. The youth union members were divided into small groups, spreading to households to mobilize support for the program, including self-produced clean agricultural products such as green squash, pumpkin, squash, eggplant, eggplant, peanuts... fruits such as jackfruit, banana,...

Next, the agricultural products are carefully classified, those that can be preserved for a long time are kept intact to be transported to the necessary addresses. The other types are organized by the youth union members to be pre-processed and processed into dishes that can be preserved for a long time such as sesame and peanuts, sweet and salty roasted peanuts, nhut (pickled young jackfruit), thinh mang (pickled bamboo shoots), pickled eggplant...

In addition, the youth union in communes and towns of Thanh Chuong district also mobilized and received necessities such as instant noodles, bottled water, etc. to send to the front line against the epidemic. Supply trucks carrying these items will be delivered to Vinh City as well as other epidemic-affected localities early next week.
