Vinh City Youth Union distributes 350 free meals to poor patients

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 22, at Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Vinh City Youth Union coordinated with Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company to organize a "charity meal" program for poor patients being treated at the hospital.

Participating in the "charity meal" program were more than 30 members of the City's Youth Union and officers and employees of Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company. Each meal was carefully prepared, thoughtfully and thoughtfully delivered to each poor patient in difficult circumstances who was being treated at the hospital. Although the value was not high, this act of kindness helped the patients feel warm.

In nearly 2 hours, 350 free meals were distributed to poor patients here, each worth 20 thousand VND. The food including meat, fish, vegetables and soup ensuring nutrition and food hygiene and safety was prepared by the members of the group and transported to the hospital yard by car. This is a meaningful work to share and help patients overcome illness and disease. The program is expected to be carried out regularly every 2 weeks on Saturday and Sunday for 3 consecutive months at the hospital.
