Thanh Hoa FC changes chairman, Mr. De reappears
Mr. Nguyen Van De will take over the chairmanship of Thanh Hoa Club from his predecessor Tran Quoc Hung. The macro-level change of the Thanh Hoa team surprised many people even though the club is facing difficulties in terms of performance and finance.
Mr. De is not a strange name in Thanh Hoa football. He was the club's chairman for many years before being transferred to FLC. Even under Mr. De, Thanh Hoa was famous for its model of state and business working together.
Information about the change in leadership at Thanh Hoa FC has been confirmed by Chairman Tran Quoc Hung. Mr. Hung said that the leadership wants to make changes to help the team overcome the current period. When asked about his feelings at this time, Mr. Hung said: “I feel at peace. The things that need to be done for the team since the transfer from FLC, my brothers and I have done our best, with all our hearts. What I want most right now is that with his experience and potential, Mr. De will help the team overcome difficulties. Personally, I wish and hope that the players and coaching staff will make more efforts for the fans of Thanh Hoa.”
In fact, Thanh Hoa FC's difficulties were foreseen. The team's personnel were greatly depleted after FLC's withdrawal. The team's finances were also a problem as the board of directors had to beg everywhere for money to pay. Although they have not been able to win, in recent times, Thanh Hoa FC has received good signals from youth training with the U15 team winning a ticket to the National U15 Finals and most importantly, they have completed the transfer of the team smoothly, qualifying them to participate in the V.League.
