Establishment of Tokyo Medical University Vietnam
The Prime Minister has just signed a decision to establish Tokyo Medical University Vietnam with 100% foreign investment. The school's headquarters is located in Hung Yen province.
According to the decision signed on November 23, Tokyo Medical University Vietnam is under the State management of education and training of the Ministry of Education and Training, and the State management of territory of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province. The school has legal status, its own seal and account.

Currently, the country has 12 specialized medical training facilities under the Ministry of Health and 9 multidisciplinary schools (including 5 private schools).
In the North, many public universities train in Medicine, including Hanoi Medical University, Hai Duong Medical Technical University, Thai Binh Medical University, Hai Phong Medical University, and Thai Nguyen Medical and Pharmaceutical University.
