Establishment of Nghe An Center for Support and Consulting on Industrial and Trade Development

Pursuant to Decision No. 2676/QD-UBND dated July 16, 2019 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province approving the Project on reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining the payroll and restructuring the staff, civil servants and public employees to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An in the period of 2018-2021 and the following years, on June 10, 2022, the People's Committee of Nghe An province signed Decision No. 1639/QD-UBND on the Decision to establish the Nghe An Center for Support and Consulting on the Development of Industry and Trade on the basis of merging the Center for Energy Saving into the Center for Industrial Promotion and Consulting on Industrial Development.

Nghe An Center for Support and Consulting on Industrial and Trade Development is a public service unit with revenue, guaranteed by the state for regular expenditure, with legal status, its own seal and account. The Center is under the direct direction and management of the Department of Industry and Trade, with the function of serving the state management of the Department of Industry and Trade on activities.industrial promotion, supporting industry, industrial development consulting, cleaner production in industry and energy saving; providing public services in the fields of industrial promotion, supporting industry, industrial development consulting,energy savingas prescribed by law.

The Center for Support and Consulting for Industry and Trade Development has a Director and 02 Deputy Directors; specialized departments include the Administration - General Department and the Support and Consulting Department. The Center's headquarters is located at 70 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh - Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting was appointed to hold the position of Director of the Center for Support and Consulting for Industrial and Trade Development in Nghe An.

Mr. Pham Van Hoa, Director of Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade, hopes that officers and employeesCenter for Support and Consulting for Industrial and Trade Developmentpromote the spirit of solidarity, excellently complete all assigned tasks. He requested the Center to soon issue operating regulations; highlight the role and responsibility of the leader; advise the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with departments and branches to promote industrial promotion, supporting industry, industrial development consulting, cleaner production in industry and energy saving; strengthen consulting, trade, and promotion of Nghe An branded products to fairs and markets at home and abroad; strive for 100% autonomy in operating costs...

Speaking on accepting the assignment, the new Director of the Center for Support and Consulting for Industry and Trade Development, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh expressed that this is a great honor but also comes with a heavy responsibility, so in the coming time, together with the collective leadership of the Center, civil servants, public employees, and workers, he will promote tradition, uphold the spirit of solidarity, collaboration, dedication, and responsibility to successfully complete the tasks entrusted by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Department of Industry and Trade.
