Thanh Lien (Thanh Chuong): Receiving Certificate of recognition of commune meeting new rural standards

(Baonghean.vn) - Focus on improving the professional qualifications and working capacity of grassroots cadres, meeting the requirements of maintaining and promoting excellent units of the province and communes meeting new rural standards.

That was the direction of comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the ceremony to receive the excellent emulation flag of the province and award the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards in Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong on the morning of March 19.

As a lowland commune, natural and social conditions are not favorable for the general development of the locality, but in recent years, with the will, efforts, consensus, solidarity and high determination from the Party Committee, government, political system and all classes of people, children far from home, Thanh Lien has created quite comprehensive development.

From a monoculture agricultural economy of rice, through many experiments and perseverance, the locality has now built 8 economic models of trees with economic value of hundreds of millions of VND/ha, such as Dien grapefruit, red-fleshed dragon fruit, green beans, green squash... The locality has also promoted the development of livestock farming in the direction of farms and family farms with dozens of models with income of hundreds of millions of VND/year or more.

Especially through the new rural construction program, the Party Committee, government and people have united in mind, invested intelligence, effort and finance to complete 19/19 criteria; the Provincial People's Committee recognized the commune as meeting the new rural standards in 2016.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive the emulation flag of the excellent unit and the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the new rural standards, comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the efforts of the Party Committee and people of Thanh Lien to overcome difficulties, bringing the locality to comprehensive development, becoming an excellent unit of the province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Lien to continue to unite, join hands and promote the excellent provincial unit and improve the new rural standards. Focus on innovating leadership and direction methods; boldly introduce new and effective economic models, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people; ensure the sustainable implementation of new rural areas. Pay attention to building and improving the qualifications and capacity of grassroots cadres to meet the requirements of new tasks, improve the standards of building new rural areas in the following years.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Lien commune the Provincial Emulation Flag for excellent performance in patriotic emulation movements; and the Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards.

The Provincial People's Committee and Thanh Chuong District People's Committee also commended many collectives and individuals with many achievements in patriotic emulation movements./.
