17 year old youth snatched a handbag at night

On April 14, the Mobile Police Department of Thua Thien - Hue Province Police caught a young man red-handed robbing a passerby. The suspect arrested was Ngo Van Huy (17 years old, residing in Thuy Phuong, Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien - Hue).

At around 1am on April 14, Huy drove his Exciter motorbike with license plate 75 G1 to the front of the Central Cultural House and discovered two women riding motorbikes, each carrying a handbag. Taking advantage of the empty road, Huy rode his motorbike close and snatched the handbag from the woman sitting behind.

Hearing the shouts, the BIDV bank target protection police team and the mobile police force promptly coordinated to arrest the young man and bring him to headquarters for investigation.

The police recovered evidence including a handbag containing more than 8 million VND, 3 savings books, an iPhone and some other related assets and documents to return to the victim. At the investigation agency, Huy confessed to his crime.

Previously, on April 6, in Hue City, there was also an incident where two young men (one of them a student) on a motorbike snatched a necklace from a woman on the street.
