Young man burned down neighbor's house because he couldn't steal property

After searching many places but not finding the homeowner's property, a young man in Kien Giang lit a lighter and burned down the house to vent his anger.

On April 13, Tan Hiep District Police (Kien Giang) temporarily detained Pham Hoang Tung Kha (21 years old, in Tan Hiep A commune) for property destruction.

According to the investigation, on February 26, Kha went to his neighbor's house to drink and then forgot his phone when he left.

When he returned to get it, Kha took advantage of the absence of people to search many places for money and gold to steal but found none. Angry, he lit a lighter and burned down his neighbor's house before leaving.

The fire was discovered by local people and put out together, but many properties in the house were burned down.

Through investigation, the police invited Kha to work and he admitted his actions.
