Highland youth build wooden bridge to help villagers cross stream
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to Youth Month 2018, the Youth Union of the mountainous commune of Binh Chuan (Con Cuong) has launched a wooden bridge to serve the travel needs of people in the area.
This is a section of the road project to build an inter-commune road from Mau Duc to Binh Chuan. According to the design, this section will have a rigid bridge built across the stream, but due to the project's slow progress, it has not been implemented yet.

To ensure traffic through this road, every year Binh Chuan commune mobilizes people to contribute materials and labor to build a temporary bridge. Because the old bridge was degraded and unsafe, Binh Chuan commune's Youth Union undertook to rebuild the bridge.

The Youth Union of Binh Chuan commune called for and mobilized social resources to buy raw materials. At the same time, it mobilized more than 40 union members and young people to carry out the tasks.Within 2 days, the basic wooden bridge was completed with a length of 7.4 m and a width of 2.1 m. The total value of the project was nearly 20 million VND.
The completed bridge will ensure safety and convenience for travel on the main inter-commune road.
