Vinh City proposes to cancel planning of 9 projects

(Baonghean.vn) - According to a survey in Vinh city, there are 34 land leasing projects with many different purposes such as: commercial centers, small industrial parks, factories, urban areas, residential areas... in profitable locations but the implementation is not on schedule.

The Central Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital project (Le Nin Street) is slow to progress.

On October 30, 2016, Vinh city proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to cancel the planning and related legal documents for 9 projects.

These are the projects: Central University of Technology; Telecommunications and Information Technology Urban Area in Ben Thuy Ward; Trade center, product introduction, hotel combined with office for rent in Nghi Phu Commune of Gia Thinh General Trading Company Limited; Complex of Trade Center combined with sports services and office for rent in Nghi Phu Commune of Vinh Na Joint Stock Company; Trade center, office for rent, townhouses, villas and housing for low-income people in Nghi Phu and Nghi Duc Communes of Song Hong Urban Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

The Commercial Building and Auto Workshop Project of Trung Lam Company (Le Nin Street) is being rented as a restaurant.

Projects: Office and commercial area in Nghi Phu commune of Bac Mien Trung Construction Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company; Trade and service center in Hung Hoa commune of Nam Binh Trade and Service Company Limited; Nghi Phu mixed housing area in Nghi Phu commune of Nha Viet Design Consulting and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company; Nghe An road motor vehicle driving training center in Nghi An commune of Mai Linh Company Limited were also proposed to have their planning cancelled. These are projects that have not been implemented for many years.
