Vinh City launches the 2015 Traffic Safety Week.

(Baonghean.vn) - From March 16th to March 21st, 2015, Vinh City Youth Union organized the launch program for the 2015 Traffic Safety Week.

This year, the Vinh City Youth Union has implemented many meaningful and practical activities in the Traffic Safety Week program, such as: Organizing the signing of the "Four No's" commitment program for youth union members from affiliated branches, including: not driving motorcycles or motorbikes without a driver's license, not swerving or speeding, not encouraging or participating in illegal racing, and not driving motorcycles or motorbikes after drinking alcohol.

For individuals who violate traffic regulations, the City Youth Union requires units to compile a list including full names, ages, and workplaces/schools to facilitate coordinated handling of violations. In addition, ward and commune youth unions have coordinated with the City Police to establish volunteer youth teams stationed at intersections and key locations in the city center. School youth unions have organized youth task forces to ensure traffic safety and order in front of school gates before and after school hours, strictly penalizing students who violate traffic laws, and promptly commending and rewarding collectives and individuals with achievements in ensuring traffic safety and order.
