Vinh City will have one more general hospital.
(Baonghean.vn) – Vinh Medical University General Hospital has a structure suitable for a hospital with 200 - 250 beds, arranged with all functional areas according to regulations of the Ministry of Health.
That is one of the important contents unanimously approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province at the regular meeting in April.

Opening the meeting this afternoon, the leader of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development presented the project to reorganize and innovate the LLCs: Investment and development of tea, coffee, rubber, and 3/2 agricultural industry.
Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed the Provincial People's Committee to consider and submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee a plan to reorganize and reform 03 enterprises in the form of equitization, in which the state does not hold controlling shares, specifically as follows: Tea Development Investment Company Limited: Equitization, the state holds 35% of shares. Coffee and Rubber Company Limited: Equitization, the state holds 35% of shares. Agricultural Industry Company Limited 3/2: Issue additional shares to implement equitization, the state holds 30% of shares.

At the meeting, delegates analyzed whether the state should hold controlling shares or not, what is the reasonable proportion of shares sold to investors, etc.
According to comrade Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, equitization is to diversify ownership forms, improve management capacity for more effective production and business activities. Therefore, the state does not need to hold controlling shares and needs to increase the capital contribution ratio to attract more investors.

With the same viewpoint, many delegates believe that the state holding rate of 30-35% is reasonable because with that rate, it can still veto important issues, especially those related to land.
Concluding this content, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong basically agreed with the arrangement project, and at the same time requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to absorb the opinions of the delegates to supplement the plan and complete the content of the project to submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in the next meeting.

Next, the Principal of Vinh Medical University presented the Project to establish Vinh Medical University General Hospital. The hospital is built within the school campus, with a structure suitable for a hospital with a scale of 200 - 250 beds, fully arranged with functional areas according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health; ensuring sterile conditions, environmental hygiene conditions and implementing professional techniques according to the provisions of law.

In terms of current quantity and structure, it basically meets the scale of a district-level general hospital, meeting grade III standards with a scale of 100 beds, and by 2020, striving to increase the scale to 200 beds.
The hospital is a self-funded, independent accounting unit that ensures all regular operating expenses.
Concluding this content, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong said that the establishment of Vinh Medical University Hospital is consistent with the policy and strategic orientation of protecting and caring for people's health in the current period; Consistent with the development planning of the school and the province. However, along with the establishment of the hospital, Vinh Medical University needs to continue to focus on improving the quality of training, putting the hospital into effective operation.

Based on the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed to approve the establishment of the General Hospital, and requested Vinh Medical University to complete the project and submit it to the Provincial Party Committee for approval.

Also this afternoon, the Provincial People's Committee listened to and commented on the results of 3 years of implementing the project to develop Nghe An Radio and Television Station to be on par with regional Radio and Television Stations, period 2014-2020; Draft Plan to support innovative startups in Nghe An province, period 2017-2020.
