The "Impressive" Academic Achievement of the Vietnamese Girl Just Appointed Director of Facebook Vietnam
Along with her "impressive" academic achievements, Le Diep Kieu Trang (Christy Le) is also famous as the "golden girl" in the startup and technology world in Vietnam.
Recently, social network Facebook has appointed Vietnamese girl Le Diep Kieu Trang to the position of Director of Facebook Vietnam.
Le Diep Kieu Trang was born in 1980 in Ho Chi Minh City. She is the daughter of Mr. Le Van Tri, former Deputy General Director and Member of the Board of Directors of Casumina Joint Stock Company.
Le Diep Kieu Trang has an impressive academic record, with the title of valedictorian of economics at Oxford University and the Sloan MBA program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Since 9th grade, Kieu Trang has had a C in English. Trang was the valedictorian of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (HCMC) and also the valedictorian when she graduated.
After graduating from high school, this girl won a large scholarship to the world's most prestigious university, Oxford (UK) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).
In 1998, Kieu Trang received a scholarship to study a 2-year university foundation course in the UK. Then, in 2000, she continued to win a scholarship to Oxford University (UK).
In 2008, she continued to win a master's scholarship and studied the Sloan MBA program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US.
In 2011, after graduating from MIT, Trang worked at McKinsey - a leading international management consulting firm with prestige and reputation in the world, ranked as the top employer of choice at MBA schools worldwide.
In 2014, Kieu Trang and her husband Sonny Vu founded Misfit Wearables, a company specializing in health monitoring devices. The company attracted many investors, including John Sculley, former CEO of Apple, and Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing.
In 2015, Misfit Wearbles was acquired by Fossil Group, an American fashion watch group, for $260 million. Since then, Trang has been the General Director of Fossil Vietnam.
