The "huge" achievement of the student who won the first prize in the Youth Informatics Competition in Nghe An province
(Baonghean.vn) - With a score of 97/100, surpassing 42 candidates, Nguyen Trinh Tuan Dat, a 9D student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School (Do Luong) won first prize at the 24th Nghe An Youth Informatics Contest.
Hearing that Nguyen Trinh Tuan Dat, a 9D student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School - Do Luong, won first prize in the 24th Nghe An Youth Informatics Competition, on the evening of May 13, after receiving the award in the province and returning home, many neighbors and relatives came to congratulate Dat.

In a small house in hamlet 11, Da Son commune, next to a pot of green tea, everyone was very happy because the hamlet had another valedictorian in an exam. Before that, in the hamlet, Quynh Chau won the Gold Medal in the National Math English Contest in Hanoi.
With a gentle smile, Dat said that this time, there were 42 students participating in the Middle School Competition. The content of the competition was quite long with the topic: Practice programming to solve Math problems using the Pascal programming language library, C/C++ and the Scratch drag-and-drop programming language. In 150 minutes, Dat achieved a score of almost the maximum 97/100 points.

According to Dat, to be good at IT, you must first learn Math and English well and have creative thinking. At home, Dat often practices for 1 to 2 hours on the computer. During school, he often talks with friends and tries to ask teachers when encountering difficult IT lessons.
Nguyen Trinh Tuan Dat's academic achievements:
- Grade 2 and 3: Grade 2 took the 3rd grade English exam, Grade 3 took the 4th grade English exam and both won first prize.
- Grade 5: Second prize in provincial English.
- Grade 6: Valedictorian of the district's excellent IT students.
- Grade 7: First Prize in English.
- Grade 8: First prize in the district-level Internet English Olympic competition.
- Grade 8 and 9: Valedictorian of the district.
Commenting on Dat, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hiep - an IT teacher at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, who participated in training the Nghe An IT team for the National Competition in 2017 - said: "Dat is a student with high confidence in his studies. Thanks to his good math skills, Dat's IT thinking is very good. He has good algorithms to optimally solve difficult problems."

"Although he is a good student and has two younger siblings, Dat still often does housework diligently, such as cooking, washing dishes, cleaning the house and many other things" - Ms. Huyen, Dat's mother, shared.
According to the schedule, early August, Dat will take part in the National Young Informatics Competition in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. Hopefully, with his long history of academic achievements, maturity and good IT thinking, Dat will continue to achieve high scores./.
