(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 4 months of testing and successfully providing the service, on December 6, Nghe An Electricity and Viettel Nghe An held a launching ceremony to announce the electricity bill payment service via mobile phone and signed a cooperation agreement.
To meet the demand and create convenience for people when paying electricity bills; no need to go directly to collection points, avoid power outages due to not paying on time, Nghe An Electricity and Viettel Nghe An have coordinated to test electricity bill payment via Viettel's BankPlus service.

On July 8, 2016, electricity bill payment on mobile phones was successfully implemented for the first time by Nghe An Electricity and Viettel Nghe An.
Accordingly, people only need to register to use Viettel's BankPlus service to be able to pay electricity bills via mobile phone anywhere, anytime.

Paying electricity bills via Bankplus was born as a smart solution to help customers complete this payment right on their phone in just 15 seconds.
Using BankPlus service to pay electricity bills, customers can pay electricity bills for themselves and others right on their phones, without any usage fees, no travel time, no waiting.

The service can be used on all types of mobile phones currently on the market, without the need to install software or connect to the Internet. Transactions are performed absolutely safely anywhere there is Viettel signal with a 2-layer security policy including PIN code and one-time transaction authentication code (OTP).
