At the drawing session, the Government Inspectorate selected 67 people from 9 ministries, agencies and units by random drawing as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 15 of Decree No. 130/2020.
Of which, PVN has 3 people, EVN 3 people, TKV 3 people, Ministry of Education and Training 16 people, State Bank 11 people, Government Inspectorate 3 people, Ministry of Information and Communications 4 people, Ministry of Industry and Trade 17 people, Ministry of Transport 7 people.
According to information from the Government Inspectorate, the time to verify assets and income for these officials will take place in the second, third and fourth quarters of 2023.
According to the provisions of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption, the Government Inspectorate controls the assets and income of people holding positions of department director and equivalent or higher working at ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, local authorities, public service units, agencies and organizations established by decision of the Prime Minister, and state-owned enterprises.
Why do we have to wait for a 'lucky draw' to verify asset declaration?
