Inspecting the appointment of nearly 100 officials before retirement at the Airports Corporation
The Ministry of Transport Inspectorate will conduct an inspection of Mr. Le Manh Hung - General Director of ACV, who was accused of signing the appointment of a series of officials before his retirement.

"Following the direction of the Minister, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport will conduct an inspection to clarify the appointment process of a series of officials at ACV," said the head of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport.
Accordingly, the inspection will be conducted within 45 days: "When we have an official conclusion, we will provide it in accordance with legal regulations...", Mr. Ha affirmed.Previously, Mr. Le Manh Hung - General Director of ACV was accused of signing appointments to a series of officials before his retirement.
Afterwards, ACV issued a statement affirming that in order to ensure good implementation of the production and business plan, the Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Organization - Personnel Committee had compiled the appointment proposals of the units from 2016, 2017 and new transfer and appointment proposals to submit to the Board of Directors and the Standing Committee of the Corporation for consideration and decision.
After reviewing, the Party Standing Committee and the Board of Directors issued 32 resolutions on the appointment of officials.
Specifically, in April and June 2018, the corporation appointed and transferred 15 cases, including 3 department-level officials and 12 department-level officials.
The appointment of cadres in the planning proposed since 2016 is 53 cases, including 3 cadres at the department level, 20 cadres at the department and center level, and 30 cadres at the team level.
36 new appointments were made in the planning, including 6 department and branch level officials, 21 department level officials, and 9 team level officials.

“The above-mentioned new appointments of cadres are entirely the result of the review, implementation and decision-making process of the corporation’s leadership…; ensuring standards and compliance with the cadre planning for the 2016-2021 period…”, the announcement stated.
ACV affirmed that the decision to appoint Mr. Le Manh Hung - General Director and legal representative - was not a personal decision but a public duty carried out under the authority delegated by the corporation.
It is known that Mr. Le Manh Hung - General Director of ACV will retire from July 19./.
