Vinh City Party Committee builds houses of gratitude for wounded soldiers.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 8th, the Vinh City Party Committee, in coordination with Nghi Lien commune, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a house of gratitude for Mr. Le Xuan Do, a 4/4 war invalid in Hamlet 17.

In implementing the campaign to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, the Standing Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee launched a campaign for cadres and Party members to save from their monthly salaries and donate 50 million VND to Mr. Le Xuan Do's family for the construction of a new house.

The construction is expected to be completed and put into use within one month. It is known that in 2014, the Vinh City Party Committee handed over 9 houses of gratitude to policy beneficiary families. In 2015, the Vinh City Party Committee continued to support an additional 6 houses of gratitude for policy beneficiary families.

This activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual support and compassion of officials and Party members in Vinh City towards families entitled to preferential policies.
