After Vinh City invested in expanding and renovating Le Hong Phong Street's sidewalks, the old electric pole system and countless electric cables and telecommunication cables hanging haphazardly on it became "obstacles" and "spider webs" affecting urban aesthetics and traffic safety.

Due to the impact of storm No. 4 causing prolonged heavy rain, dismantling the "spider web" and cutting off "obstacles" forLe Hong Phong Street(Vinh City), the section from the Customs roundabout to the intersection with Nguyen Van Cu Street was unfinished and could not ensure progress, so as soon as the weather became dry, construction units focused on human resources to urgently deploy.

Le Hong Phong Street was invested in by Vinh City People's Committee to expand and upgrade with a total cost of more than 323 billion VND (including site clearance costs). By August 2024, the construction of sidewalk paving, road expansion, drainage, lighting, telecommunication and electricity cable conduit systems at locations where the site has been handed over has basically been completed... However, the old electric pole system and power and telecommunication cables are slowly being dismantled and cut, affecting the urban beauty and traffic safety. Identifying this as a difficult task requiring the coordination of many units, in August 2024, the leaders of the Vinh City Party Committee and People's Committee directly inspected the site and urged relevant units. On the project management side, a schedule has been set, the dismantling of the old electric pole system and power and telecommunication cables along the entire route will be completed by the end of October 2024; the section from the Customs roundabout to the intersection of Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Van Cu streets will be completed on September 20, 2024.
