Shaman Le Dai Vu, who stole a gold necklace at Ba Chua Xu Temple in Ca Mau, has just been detained by the police.

On June 4, Tran Van Thoi District Police (Ca Mau) are temporarily detaining Le Dai Vu (34 years old, residing in Ca Mau City) to investigate the act of "Theft of property".

Suspect Vu committed the act of stealing gold at the Ba Chua Xu Vam Song Ong Doc temple in Song Doc town (Tran Van Thoi district).

On June 2, before preparing for the worship ceremony, Mr. Ly Hiep Tai, the temple manager, discovered that the 18K gold necklace weighing 1.4 taels and worth about 50 million VND was missing from the statue of the Lady of the Land. This gold was brought by people to worship at the Lady of the Land temple.

Mr. Tai reported the incident to the police. Through professional measures, the police discovered that Vu was the suspect in the above gold theft.

The police have taken suspect Vu and the evidence to the headquarters. It is known that Vu is a shaman often hired to perform rituals at the Ba Chua Xu Temple.
