Primary school teacher awarded 'Emulation Warrior' title for 14 consecutive years

In 1979, after graduating from Vinh Pedagogical University, Mr. Nho was assigned to teach secondary school students at Quynh Ngoc. After that, he was transferred to work at many different schools. Realizing that students in the communes west of Quynh Luu still had many difficulties, with the desire to effectively bring letters to the children in the mountainous areas, in 1983 Mr. Nho asked to be transferred to work at Quynh Chau Primary School.

At that time, Quynh Chau Primary School had 65 classes with more than 1,000 students, studying at 7 different schools. The means of transportation were rudimentary, so traveling to classes was difficult. Despite all the hardships and difficulties, the young teacher was never discouraged.

With enthusiasm and passion for the profession, all generations of students he taught were well-behaved and good at studying. In 1990, he was elected to the position of Vice Principal, then took over as Principal 2 years later. In 1995, after the school split, he was assigned to hold the position of Principal of Quynh Chau A School until now.

Mr. Tran Trung Nho is always exemplary, promoting the sense of responsibility of a leader, having a high sense of discipline, and regularly caring and helping colleagues to excellently complete assigned tasks. In particular, he is always exemplary in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. In his mind, learning from Uncle Ho must be learned from the smallest things in daily life, so he does not hesitate to do anything. For each subject of each school year, he has innovated the management work to departments, professional groups, and all teachers to promote their abilities so that they have many initiatives and experiences, innovate methods to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

In his role as Party cell secretary, he always focuses on implementing the Party's Directives and Resolutions to create unity in thought and action among the staff and teachers in the school. Every month, he organizes regular meetings to report on domestic and international current events and evaluate the implementation of the previous month's Resolutions to promote the achieved results.

For the remaining shortcomings, the teacher will remind and criticize to overcome them in the coming month. In addition, assign each cadre and party member to promote the role of a party member, actively inspect and supervise to improve the activities in each professional group. Teacher Nho always knows how to renew himself to come up with good initiatives and useful experiences to pass on to cadres and teachers to learn and apply in practice.

Sharing about his leadership success, Mr. Nho said: “Determining that studying and following Uncle Ho is important in the work of building and developing the Party cell and the school, I have fully implemented the documents of the superiors in accordance with the characteristics of the unit's activities. Along with that, I have effectively implemented the project to enhance exemplary behavior, fight against conservative thinking, waiting, and dependence among cadres and Party members of Nghe An province at Party cell and school meetings, regularly listening to the opinions of subordinates to solve problems quickly and neatly to avoid affecting the thinking of cadres and teachers. Thanks to that, it has brought about positive effects”.

Under his leadership, the cadres, teachers and employees all complied well with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws as well as the regulations of all levels and sectors, and implemented a good cultural lifestyle in the school and residential area. Notably, Quynh Chau A Primary School has not had a single case of violation of population and family planning policies. He is also a key professional member of the district's education sector, participating in evaluating initiatives, experiences and topics.

With his contributions to the school and the education sector, he was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter at the provincial level for 14 years and was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level for many consecutive years. In addition, he was also awarded many Certificates of Merit and Merit from various levels.
