The principal in Nghe An sent a touching letter of encouragement to his orphaned student.
(Baonghean.vn) - "Accepting success is easy, overcoming failures is true success" - is what the Principal of Kim Lien Secondary School shared with his strong-willed student.
The letter was written right after Kim Lien Secondary School had the results of the 2017-2018 Key Quality Assessment exam by the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dan district. In this exam, Kim Lien Secondary School had a breakthrough with 61/63 students winning prizes (97%). This is also the highest result of the school in 59 years of operation and is expected to maintain the leading position in the district.

However, in that overall victory, teacher Nguyen Vuong Linh - the school's principal was still "unhappy" when his student Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong - a student in class 7D failed: "Thuy Duong is a special student, her father died early, her mother got married so she lived with her grandmother. When she heard that she failed, I knew she was very sad and tormented because she had no one to share with."
To encourage his student, in his letter, teacher Vuong Linh wrote: "I know you are very sad because you have tried your best but the results are not as expected. But it's okay, that is a normal feeling of every human being. From the bottom of my heart, I really admire you, a determined girl who has overcome difficult circumstances to excel in her studies. Your essay was written quite well and scored 12.25 points, just a little bit more and you would have "reached the finish line" - Not a bad result!"

In addition to sharing, with the hope that the poor student will continue to strive, the principal also wrote: "I hope you understand that: You were born to do much greater things than that, a test score does not say it all. I always tell you that: Accepting success is easy, overcoming failures is true success. That is also what teachers want from you."
It is known that although she was not successful in the Key Quality Assessment Exam, Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong's academic results in class were very good and she was recognized as an excellent student.
Due to her special circumstances, Duong is often supported both materially and spiritually by the school. On April 19, on the occasion of Vietnam Book Day, the principal also gave her books and a small gift to encourage this determined student.
