Coach Park Hang-seo and his team encountered an accident as soon as they landed at Bacolod airport.
After about an hour of waiting on the plane, the members of the Vietnamese team were invited by Bacolod airport staff into a closed room to continue... waiting.
As reported, the direct flight from Noi Bai carrying the Vietnamese team members to Bacolod (Philippines) landed at 3:30 p.m. local time. This was a charter flight sponsored by an airline so that the Vietnamese team did not have to fly multiple times.
However, those on the flight could not enter the country immediately and had to wait for about 1 hour. Then the Philippine airport staff took everyone to the waiting room for another hour.
Here, members on the flight must fill out an entry declaration, then submit it along with their passports and continue waiting.
Coach Park Hang-seo was very unhappy about this incident when the Vietnamese team, after many hours of waiting, still could not return to the hotel to rest.
