There are many forms of non-cash payment, but the most familiar to Vietnamese people is probably the bank payment card. Compact, easy to store, preserve and pay, the bank card is now an indispensable item for many people.

There are currently about 19 billion bank cards of all kinds in circulation worldwide. According to a report by MasterCard, thanks to card transactions, countries save 1% of GDP compared to the costs incurred when transacting entirely in cash. However, this figure is only a part of the target because non-cash payments can also limit the lack of transparency of cash payments.
Cashless society is not only a trend in European countries but also a global trend. Vietnam's goal is that in the next 3 years, our country will adjust so that cash only appears at a level lower than 10% in total payment aspects.
With the strong development of technology and rapid economic integration, such forms of payment will soon appear in Vietnam.
