Another player committed to stay at SLNA
(Baonghean.vn) - Goalkeeper Tran Van Tien is the next face to reach an agreement on a new contract with the Vinh Stadium team, after striker Ho Phuc Tinh.
Tran Van Tien became a “free agent” right after the 2019 season ended, unlike the cases of Ho Khac Ngoc, Vo Ngoc Toan, Tran Dinh Hoang, Tran Nguyen Manh… who had to wait until December to receive the contract termination papers from the Nghe An team. Therefore, SLNA’s Board of Directors worked with Tran Van Tien in advance to discuss a new contract.
The negotiation process went quite smoothly, currently, the two sides have agreed to officially sign right after SLNA announces the sponsor. According to Tran Van Tien, this contract has a term of 2 years. This is a worthy reward for the tireless efforts of the goalkeeper from Do Luong over the past time.

In V.League 2019, Tran Van Tien was able to put on the gloves and play a total of 3 times (SLNA – B.Binh Duong: 2 – 1, SLNA – Than Quang Ninh: 0 – 0 and Quang Nam – SLNA: 2 – 2). What Tran Van Tien did in the 3 matches mentioned above, has partly met the expectations of experts and fans of Nghe An.
If the number 1 goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh decides to leave SLNA, Tran Van Tien will compete with his senior Le Van Hung for the starting position, in case the Vinh team does not recruit a goalkeeper from another team. Hopefully, Tien “lech” will have the opportunity to play and shine in SLNA’s shirt in the coming seasons./.
