250km of National Highway 1 through the localities of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh is equipped with 55 camera stations to monitor and detect violations by drivers on both sides of the road. The locations are placed before intersections with green and red lights, on open roads.
The camera system can automatically detect vehicles speeding, driving in the wrong lane, stopping or parking illegally, or driving in the wrong direction..., thanks to the computer analyzing the image and comparing it with the regulations of the Road Traffic Law.
