3 more people arrested in the murder of a chicken delivery girl in Dien Bien

Dung is the brother of the defendant Pham Van Nhiem. Thu is the wife of Bui Van Cong, whose house is next to the scene where the victim's body was found.

Previously, 5 people were prosecuted by Dien Bien Police: Vuong Van Hung (35 years old), Bui Van Cong (44 years old), Pham Van Nhiem (47 years old), Luong Van La (26 years old) and Luong Van Hung (39 years old, all residing in Dien Bien district). All five people were temporarily detained to clarify the crime.Murder, robbery, rape, illegal possession of drugs and illegal detention.

So far, Dien Bien Provincial Police have prosecuted 8 suspects related to the murder of the 22-year-old female student.

According to the investigation, on February 1 (December 27), Cong invited Vuong Van Hung to rob a female student who was helping her family sell chickens at Muong Thanh market. On February 3, Cong went to the market, pointed out the girl's face to Vuong Van Hung and asked her to get her phone number to arrange to deliver the chicken.

At around 4pm on February 4 (December 30), Vuong Van Hung went to the market pretending to buy chickens and asked for a phone number. At 6:40pm the same day, he called a female student to order 13 chickens and asked for delivery to the canal bank of Doc Lap hill (Dien Bien Phu city). When the "prey" arrived, Vuong Van Hung restrained her, made her faint and took her to an abandoned house.

Hearing Vuong Van Hung call to inform, Cong invited Nhiem to go with him. At the abandoned house, the three suspects took turns committing lewd acts and then locked the girl in Cong's truck.

Vuong Van Hung took the victim's motorbike and some stolen property to his uncle's house in Noong Het commune, Dien Bien district. In the early morning of February 5 (the first day of Tet), he abandoned the victim's motorbike on the road running through Noong Luong commune, Dien Bien district.

On the morning of the second day of Tet, Luong Van Hung and Luong Van La came and continued to rape the victim. That same afternoon, seeing that the female student's health was getting worse, the group tried to cover up the evidence.

After Cong and Vuong Van Hung murdered the victim, the group carried the body 5 km away to dispose of it in an uninhabited house in Thanh Nua commune, Dien Bien district... Returning to Cong's house, about 100 meters away, the five men discussed how to conceal their actions and deal with the police.
