4 new cases related to Da Nang, Vietnam has 717 Covid-19 patients
The 6 a.m. news on August 6 of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control reported 4 new cases, all related to Da Nang, including 3 in Quang Nam and 1 in Hanoi. Vietnam currently has 717 Covid-19 patients.
CASE 714 (BN714):The patient is a 42-year-old male, residing in Phuc Dien, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi, and is a bus operator. He had a history of traveling with his family to Da Nang from July 14-17.
On July 19, the patient developed a mild fever and sore throat.
On August 4, the patient was admitted to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2, and had samples taken for testing. The patient's test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2. 2.

Currently, 3 patients are being isolated and treated at Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

- Number of new cases in the community from July 25 to present: 268 cases recorded.
