49 more community Covid-19 cases, 4 imported cases
On the afternoon of February 13, the Ministry of Health recorded 53 positive cases of nCoV, of which 49 were community cases, including 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, 47 in Hai Duong, and 4 cases were quarantined immediately after entering the country.
New cases were recorded from number 2143-2195. Specifically, 49 cases were recorded domestically:
"Patient 2144" recorded in Ho Chi Minh City is a 26-year-old male residing in District 12. The patient is a seasonal cargo handler for VIASG Company at Tan Son Nhat Airport and was previously quarantined. The test result on February 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
"Patient 2145" recorded in Ho Chi Minh City is a 46-year-old female, residing in District 12. The patient is F1 of case 2144, who was previously quarantined. The test result on February 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
"Patient 2143" and 2150-2195, are 47 cases recorded in Hai Duong province. Of which, 43 cases are F1 cases that have been quarantined in advance, with no risk of spreading to the community; 4 cases in the quarantined area are undergoing additional epidemiological investigation.
4 cases were quarantined immediately after entering Ho Chi Minh City, specifically:
"Patient 2146" is a 55-year-old female Vietnamese citizen residing in Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City. The patient transited through South Korea from the US and then entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN417 on January 28. She was quarantined immediately upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. The second test result on February 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
"Patient 2147" is a 39-year-old male American expert. The patient transited through Hong Kong from the US, then entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight CX799 on February 9. He was quarantined immediately upon entering Ho Chi Minh City. The test result on February 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
"Patient 2148" is a 39-year-old female Taiwanese national. The patient entered Tan Son Nhat Airport from Taiwan on flight CI783 on January 28 and was quarantined immediately upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. The second test result on February 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
"Patient 2149" is a female, 8 years old, Korean nationality. The patient entered Tan Son Nhat Airport from Korea on flight KE683 on January 29 and was quarantined immediately upon entering Ho Chi Minh City. The second test result on February 12 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.

Nationwide, the total number of infections has reached 2,195, the number of recoveries is 1,531, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 is 35, four people died after three to four negative tests. The remaining patients are mostly in stable health, of which 39 people tested negative for nCoV once, 12 people tested negative twice and 9 people tested negative three times.
The total number of people in close contact and entering from epidemic areas being quarantined is nearly 130,000. Of these, more than 700 are quarantined at hospitals; more than 19,000 are quarantined in centralized facilities, the rest are at home or at their place of residence.
The world has recorded more than 2.2 million deaths from Covid-19 out of more than 108 million infections. The US is the country most seriously affected by the epidemic, followed by India and Brazil.
