Another police officer returns money to a citizen.

(Baonghean) - At 11 PM on June 7th, while patrolling Phan Chau Trinh Street in Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City, Lieutenant Vuong Quang Huy discovered a lost wallet containing an ID card bearing the name Nguyen Quoc Oai (Quynh Lap - Quynh Luu), some related documents, and 2,700,000 VND. Suspecting that the person on the ID card was the owner of the wallet, he contacted the Quynh Lap Commune People's Committee office to inquire about the owner. A few days later, Mr. Oai and his relatives came directly to the Doi Cung Ward Police Station, where Lieutenant Huy returned all the money and documents to them.

Upon receiving the money back, Mr. Oai and his family were deeply moved, as it was a large sum for a farming family like his. “This was the money my family had saved over the past time. I brought it to Vinh for a necessary purpose, but I lost it before I could use it. Through this incident, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Officer Huy and the leaders of the Doi Cung Ward Police for cultivating officers with good moral character, who are not greedy and do many good deeds for the people like Officer Huy.”

Born in 1986, Lieutenant Vuong Quang Huy joined the Doi Cung Ward Police Station in 2009 and is currently the team leader of the neighborhood police team. For Huy, serving in the police force is a great honor and source of pride. Therefore, he always studies, trains, and cultivates himself according to the six teachings of President Ho Chi Minh for the People's Police, being dedicated and responsible in his work, serving the people. He believes: "Returning lost property to its owner is something anyone should do, especially a police officer like me. I hope my actions will benefit Mr. Oai's family."

Comrade Nguyen Huy Hoang, Deputy Head of Doi Cung Ward Police, said: "Huy's actions are highly commendable and praiseworthy. This further affirms the training and self-improvement capabilities of the ward's police officers and soldiers in recent times."
