Another large industrial park infrastructure investment project
(Baonghean) - In recent times, the Southeast Economic Zone has attracted many investors with economic potential to learn about and invest in projects in the area. Among them, the Hemaraj infrastructure investment project invested by the Thai Hemaraj Group and the Civil Engineering Construction Corporation 4 (CIENCO 4) is a must.
In 2016, Hemaraj Group Thailand and Civil Engineering Construction Corporation 4 (CIENCO 4) signed an investment agreement with the People's Committee of Nghe An province on the project to invest in the construction and business of infrastructure of the Hemaraj industrial - urban area in the Southeast Economic Zone. The project is deployed on an area of 3,200 hectares, located in Nghi Loc and Dien Chau districts, with a total investment of about 1 billion USD. The project is divided into 7 phases, expected to start in 2017 and be completed after 2030.

The project aims to build a complete infrastructure system of industrial parks, logistics facilities and urban areas to attract secondary investors to build factories and production facilities. The joint venture will establish Hemaraj - CIENCO4 Joint Stock Company, investing in phase 1 with nearly 500 hectares in Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghi Loc district from January 2017 and completing in 2021.

The project's objective is to invest in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure for secondary investors to lease back to invest in the construction of factories, production and business facilities in the fields of precision mechanical equipment manufacturing and digital equipment assembly, spare parts manufacturing, agricultural - forestry - aquatic product processing, consumer goods production such as garments, leather shoes, electronics, high-end refrigeration, high-quality electrical equipment, construction materials and logistics. Investing in the construction and business of high-tech park infrastructure with the goal of leasing back to secondary investors to invest in the construction of factories and enterprises applying scientific achievements and dedicated to advanced technology to produce products with high knowledge content and great value such as biotechnology, information technology, etc. In addition, the project also invests in the construction and business of urban areas, trade, social housing areas, urban administrative agencies, trade centers, offices, post and telecommunications, sports, entertainment, etc.

The investment project of WHA Hemaraj Industrial Park - Nghe An is consistent with the general planning of the Southeast Economic Zone approved by the Prime Minister. The detailed planning of functional areas has been approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province; the land use planning has been approved by competent authorities.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung - Deputy General Director of Cienco 4 - representing the investors committed to investing in the construction of WHA Hemaraj 1 Industrial Park - Nghe An with a complete infrastructure system, a model industrial park in the Southeast Economic Zone to attract secondary investors to invest in building factories and glass production facilities in the industrial park. The project will create a clean land for investment in building complete, synchronous, modern infrastructure, especially FDI projects that are customers who have invested in Hemaraj industrial parks in Thailand. When put into operation, the industrial park is expected to create about 24,750 jobs, increase income for local workers and neighboring areas, and annually contribute about 150 billion VND to the state budget.
The project also contributes to shifting the economic structure towards increasing the proportion of industrial and service production, reducing the proportion of agricultural production in Nghi Loc district in particular and Nghe An province in general. Contributing to promoting the development and transfer of modern science and technology, accelerating the industrialization and modernization process of Nghe An.
