Another student from Phan High School wins a silver medal at the International Physics Olympiad.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 12th, Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang Chi, Deputy Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School, announced that Nguyen Ngoc Khanh, a student in class 12A3, had just won a silver medal at the International Physics Olympiad.

This year's International Physics Olympiad is being held in India. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh, a student from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, was directly admitted to the team after winning a gold medal at the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad. Prior to that, while in 11th grade, Khanh also won a bronze medal at the same competition.

Khánh's achievement once again brings glory to the academically-oriented region of Nghe An, and this is the second consecutive year that Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has won a high award at the International Olympiad. The Vietnamese delegation is expected to arrive back in Vietnam on the afternoon of July 13th and at Vinh Airport at 8:00 AM on July 14th.

The Vietnamese team at the International Physics Olympiad achieved outstanding results, with all five students winning medals. This included three gold medals and two silver medals. In particular, Dinh Thi Huong Thao received a special award for being the female contestant with the highest achievement.
