Another beauty from Nghe An enters the semi-finals of Miss Universe Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) - Besides beauty Nguyen Ngoc Nu, Nguyen Thi Thom is the second beauty from Nghe An to enter the semi-finals of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 contest.

Nguyen Thi Thom (23 years old, from Nam Thanh commune, Nam Dan) is the second contestant from Nghe An to officially enter the top 70 semi-finalists of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017. Currently, the reality TV show "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017" is being broadcast on VTV9, ANTV channels... to find the person worthy of wearing the crown of this biggest beauty contest in Vietnam.

Episode 4 of "I am Miss Universe Vietnam" aired at 9pm on ANTV channel attracted many people's attention when contestant number 210 introduced herself with a strong Nghe An accent: "Hello everyone, I am Nguyen Thi Thom, I come from Nam Dan, Nghe An..."

After 4 episodes of "I am Miss Universe Vietnam", up to this point, Thom has won some challenges given by the judges such as: Conical hat challenge, Rearranging cups and plates on the table. However, the beauty from Uncle Ho's hometown could not overcome the challenges: I am elegant and Walking on the stairs.

Nguyen Thi Thom is a name that is no longer strange to many people because of her unique beauty and standard body shape. Thom is 1m68 tall, with measurements of 83 - 63 - 92. In 2015, Thom was in the top 70 of Miss Universe Vietnam, top 45 of Miss Sea Vietnam 2016. Notably, also in 2016, Thom excellently won the Fitness Star 2016 Championship.

Before participating in "I am Miss Universe Vietnam", Thom was a catwalk teacher, freelance model in Hanoi and occasionally she was invited to be a judge in some beauty contests...

Sharing with Nghe An Newspaper, Thom said: “I did not inform my family about my participation in this contest. During my breaks, I saw my friends calling my family, and I felt very sad. My family did not support me in participating, but I really hope that everyone in my family will recognize my ability through this contest. I am trying my best to complete the upcoming challenges more smoothly…”

Currently, Thom is trying to develop and improve herself to do better in the next challenges of I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 to get closer to the valuable crown of this contest.
