The conversation between us and our teammates was constantly interrupted by the ringing of the phone. “Hello, on Phan Dinh Phung Street, there is a drunk person causing public disorder and disturbing the security of the neighborhood,” a nearby resident announced.

After screening the information, the 113 Police force quickly set out and we quickly joined in. Upon arriving at the scene, the 113 soldiers did not hesitate, rushing to control the subject, while he struggled, cursed, and did not cooperate... After handing over to the ward police, the 113 police soldiers returned to their unit.

Before they could even warm up their seats, the soldiers on duty jumped up and rushed away when the switchboard continued to receive reports that on Truong Thi Street there was a conflict between two groups of young men; on Tran Hung Dao Street, due to a traffic collision, a subject called a group of friends to cause trouble, causing chaos in the whole neighborhood...

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Xo, in the minds of the 113 Police soldiers, any news is an urgent call from the people. Therefore, in addition to responsibility, there is also an invisible force that pulls us with the desire to get to the place where the news is reported as quickly as possible, to resolve it safely and effectively, to bring peace to the people.

And that is why Lieutenant Ho Minh Thanh confirmed, “Being a 113 Police Officer means staying up all night. And having to stop eating to go on the road when receiving reports of fighting or disturbing the peace… is more common than daily meals.”

Also through their stories, we learned that due to the nature of their work, 113 Police officers must always maintain a 24/7 duty schedule. On average, each day, 113 duty receives and handles dozens of reports. From public disorder to gang fights, even marital quarrels... The command center will evaluate whether the information is true or false, its nature, and its extent, to assign forces to the scene as quickly as possible.

In the story, they said that, in addition to taking advantage of using cheap, unregistered, uncontrolled SIM cards, many people have harassed the 113 Police force with mobile phones, sometimes up to hundreds of calls a day, making it difficult to grasp the situation.

Recently, there have been cases of intentional injury, public disorder and resistance to law enforcement officers that the unit has received and handled. There have been more cases of people showing signs of being “high on drugs”, being infected with HIV or “acting” in groups, equipped with many types of “hot” weapons such as grenades, guns, knives… and appearing to be very reckless and reckless.

Therefore, the requirement is not only to quickly and completely resolve the case, arrest the subject and the evidence, but also to ensure absolute safety for the people and the working group. With the strategy of always implementing the 3 most motto: "fastest, strongest, most effective".

“Despite facing danger, the 113 Police force is always ready to go on duty, so most of the brothers have no concept of celebrating Tet and reuniting with their families,” added Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam - Deputy Captain of Team 113.
