On the morning of May 18, the leader of Linh Son Primary School (Anh Son) said that the school was very saddened to receive the news that a student drowned while swimming in the river.
"The unfortunate student mentioned above is Nguyen Van Hung, a student of class 4B. Yesterday afternoon (May 17), Hung went with two brothers in the village to Lam River to bathe, and for some reason Hung drowned. The incident of Hung going to bathe in the river and drowning is very heartbreaking. The school has visited and expressed condolences to the family," said Mr. Tran Van Tinh - Principal of Linh Son Primary School.
This morning, the family, school and local authorities took care of Hung's funeral according to local customs.
