Pilot STEM education from the 2017-2018 school year
This is the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive 16/CT-TTg on enhancing capacity to access the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to promote the implementation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in the general education program; organize a pilot program in a number of general schools from the 2017-2018 school year. Improve research and teaching capacity in higher education institutions; strengthen education on basic skills, knowledge, creative thinking, and the ability to adapt to the requirements of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
STEM is essentially understood as equipping learners with the necessary knowledge and skills related to the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
These knowledge and skills must be integrated, interwoven and complement each other to help students not only understand the principles but also be able to practice and create products in daily life.
