Piloting the transportation of workers working in Industrial Parks by bus from May 5
(Baonghean.vn) - This plan was implemented based on the needs of workers in industrial parks in recent years, helping to reduce personal vehicles, travel costs and limit traffic accidents.
In response to the proposal to use buses to go to work by workers in industrial parks, in the regular meeting in February 2022, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assigned the Department of Transport to arrange passenger transport by bus connecting with industrial parks. Then, on April 23, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee also issued Official Dispatch 2882/UBND-CN on piloting passenger transport by bus connecting with industrial parks.industrial parkon site
On that basis, Nghe An Department of Transport has issued a pilot plan to transport workers working in industrial parks in Nghe An province by bus.

This pilot aims to reduce personal vehicles, traffic accidents, environmental pollution and travel costs forWorkerin industrial parks. At the same time, it is also a premise to call for investment and exploitation of inner-city bus routes, towards sustainable bus operation to serve the travel needs in industrial parks.
Accordingly, the Department of Transport has developed two implementation plans:
Option 1:Arrange buses to transport workers from districts to factories.industrial park. Implementation starts from May 5, 2022 to June 5, 2022.
At VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park: Use bus route No.27(passing through Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen districts),04(passing through Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts)and08(passing through Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts).
At Nam Cam Industrial Park: Use bus route no.04(passing through Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts)and08(passing through Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts).

Option 2:Sign a contract to transport workers.
Industrial zones base on the number of workers who need to travel by bus, transportation time, and estimated cost of each trip to negotiate and sign transportation contracts with passenger transport businesses under the supervision of the Department of Transport and the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board.
According to the plan, investors in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure are responsible for presiding over and coordinating with transport business units to build bus stops in industrial parks at agreed locations.
It is expected that the finalization of the list of workers who need to take the bus and selling tickets to workers will be completed before April 30.
New bus stops open in industrial parks
At Nam Cam Industrial Park:Route 16, area C, about 500m south of DT 536; route 15, area C, next to the fence of MNS Feed Nghe An Company Limited.
At VSIP Industrial Park, Urban and Service Area, there are the following locations:Huu Nghi Street, about 100m from National Highway 46, on both left and right sides of the road; Next to Nanoco fence and opposite point across Huu Nghi Street.
