(Baonghean.vn) - Right before the exam day, Le Thi Oanh unfortunately had an accident and broke her leg. After being put in a cast, although still in a lot of pain, Oanh and her father tried to go to Vinh City in time to complete the exam procedures, not missing the important exam.

Previously, on June 28, while completing the paperwork to go to Vinh City to complete the procedures for the national high school exam, Le Thi Oanh (Thanh Chuong 1 High School) unfortunately had a motorbike accident and broke her leg. Immediately after that, her family took her to Thanh Chuong District General Hospital to have her leg cast. Being injured before the exam day made Oanh extremely worried. When her leg was fixed, she and her family asked the doctors for permission to go home to go to Vinh City to complete the procedures for the exam.

At the exam site, Oanh and her father were helped by volunteer students who took her to the exam room and encouraged her to stay mentally strong for the exam.

Waiting for his son outside Vinh University gate, Mr. Le Van said: “My son and I rented a house on Nguyen Phong Sac Street, quite close to the exam site. Before the exam day, he had an accident. He kept encouraging his father that he was fine, but I felt sorry for him and was very worried. He is the eldest child in the family. Normally, he studies well in class, and every year he finishes school with a certificate of merit. He also tries hard to study and review diligently, and wants to register for the Academy of Finance.”

After the exam, Oanh was helped by volunteer students to get to the car so her father could take her home. "I did pretty well on the exam. When I first had the accident, I was very scared. But now I'm fine, the wound on my leg doesn't hurt too much. Coming down here, I was helped and encouraged by the volunteers, so I didn't worry too much and felt confident to take the exam."
