The only F2 candidate from Nghe An received financial support to go to Da Nang to take the second round of high school graduation exams.
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the 2020 high school graduation exam had to be divided into 2 rounds. Of which, the second round was for Da Nang and Quang Nam provinces and students in the F1 and F2 categories.
Previously, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, there were more than 26,000 candidates in 27 provinces/cities nationwide who were not able to take the 2020 high school graduation exam due to the impact of the epidemic.
Of which, Da Nang has the largest number with more than 10,000 candidates; Quang Nam has more than 9,000 candidates; Dak Lak has more than 5,000 candidates. In addition, some other provinces and cities, including Nghe An, have 1 candidate who has not been able to take the exam. This is an independent candidate, previously planned to take the exam at the Examination Council of Le Viet Thuat High School. However, close to the exam date, this candidate was classified as an F2 candidate, so he did not attend the first round of the high school graduation exam.

Regarding these candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training allows provinces with few candidates taking the second round of the exam to discuss combining candidates from many provinces to take the exam at one exam council. In Nghe An, after investigation, this candidate wanted to take the exam in Da Nang because he has relatives there.
Because this candidate is an independent candidate, the candidate will proactively go to the exam site to take the second round of the High School Graduation Exam. However, to support the candidate during the exam, the Department of Education and Training met, encouraged and gave the candidate 5,000,000 VND in support.
Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training also said: Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training is finalizing the final plan for the second round of the High School Graduation Exam. Regarding the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, although there is only 1 candidate participating in this exam, the Department will work with the Da Nang Examination Council to send the candidate to take the exam and create all conditions to help him/her participate in the exam smoothly and safely.
