Transfer market: Be willing to spend and play!
(Baonghean) - Last week, the world of football was shaken by the transfer of player Neymar from Barca (Spain) to PSG (France) for a record fee of 222 million euros (198 million pounds).
The media and fans have used many words to describe the transfer fee of striker Neymar as "crazy", "unimaginable", "earthquake"... According to statistics, the transfer fee for Neymar is indeed a "record of records" because the most recent transfer record was when MU spent 105 million euros (89 million pounds) to Juventus to buy back Paul Pogba.
The history of world football also recorded the first transfer deal in 1893 when player Willie Groves moved from West Brom to Aston Villa for 100 pounds. 124 years later, that is at the present time, the transfer record has been multiplied by nearly 2,000,000 times!

Thus, the value of player transfers in the international market is constantly increasing rapidly because of the clubs that are "willing to spend" and "willing to play". These are the "big" clubs in the world football village such as Real, Barca, PSG, MU Chealsea, Man City... Behind these clubs are often famous tycoons in the world, they are ready to "give the green light" for the coaching staff to spend money to buy the most famous players in the world at any price to bring to the club. Like Abramovich did with Chealsea, the Glazer family with MU, tycoon Silvio Berlusconi with AC Milan, Sheikh Mansour with Man City...
The ambition of these tycoons is that all the world's star players must be in their collection and the club they support will capture all the most prestigious titles in the world. Therefore, every year the shopping race between clubs becomes more and more fierce, regardless of whether it is just "virtual value", a temporary brand polishing.

The fact that owners spend a lot of money on clubs to gather superstars into "galaxies" has partly stimulated the growth of the player transfer market as well as the appeal of tournaments with large investments.
However, the consequences are often not small, that is, many players disregard the football environment, willing to listen to the call of money to transfer to places where they may just be "for show" rather than to promote their professional effectiveness; many clubs are lured by opponents to attract players, leading to no salary increase, "bribes" will lose key players... Besides, there are also many clubs that "spend lavishly" to get their hands on stars but do not achieve any titles, making the owner frustrated, abandoning, leading to hardship, relegation or having to sell cheaply to another owner.

Perhaps, the most profound case of “spending money on player transfers” is still Vietnamese football. From players who “had no money until they sweated”, they suddenly became billionaires because tycoons jumped into football and spent money buying both clubs and players to establish teams like Saigon Xuan Thanh, V.Ninh Binh, Hoa Phat... Vietnamese football also established sensational transfers from hundreds of millions to billions and then tens of billions of dong, but in the end, now “everything is back to normal”, when the bosses gradually gave up the game.
It is not yet known how the Neymar transfer will end, but it seems that it will be a long time before there is a new record for the amount of money transferred like this deal, but from now on "nothing is impossible" in the world of football. For Vietnamese football fans, many are wishing to return to the days when Mr. Thuy, Mr. Truong, Mr. Duc competed to spend money to buy players, to escape the "afternoon market" situation like now!
