Hoang Mai town organizes 'Early Spring, Sharing Tet' for leprosy patients and the poor
On January 9, the working delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Hoang Mai Town organized the program "Early Spring, Sharing Tet" in Dong Thanh village, Quynh Lap commune and "New Year's Eve meal" for leprosy patients being treated at Quynh Lap Central Leprosy and Dermatology Hospital, Hoang Mai Town.

In Hoang Mai town, there are currently 264 poor households, 734 near-poor households, and about 1,500 households in difficult circumstances. After screening, there are currently 2,573 households in need of help during the holiday.Lunar New Year, to date the total amount of registered donations is more than 1.3 billion VND. At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 64 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to households in difficult circumstances.

Also in the program, the town's Fatherland Front coordinated with benefactors to organize a year-end meal for 150 patients being treated at Quynh Lap Central Dermatology and Leprosy Hospital.

At the year-end meal, leprosy patients received Tet gifts and gathered around the meal tray at the hospital canteen. This was a meaningful activity for all patients to feel the sharing of the industry, local authorities, sponsors, doctors and nurses.

For patients who were not healthy enough to attend the program, the program's organizing committee visited each hospital room to visit, encourage and give special, nutritious meals to the patients.
